An ElectroStatic Discharge(ESD) is defined as the transfer of charge between bodies at different electrical potentials. The different electrical potentials,eg the electrostatics charge, are most commonly created by the contact and separation of two similar or dissimilar materials. An ESD can change the electrical characteristics of a semiconductor(electronic) device, degrading it or destroying it. ESD protection is needed when there is a rick that discharges will have an impact on the product/component being produced, transorted or handled.
The complete range of shielding, conductive, insulative and dissipative products enable Nefab to design a solution that gives the required protection.
Upp can offer a complete ESD control program, including products for the EPA, grounding products and testing equipment.
The most common packaging products are dissipative PE-bags, shielding bags, dissipative PE-film and bubble file, ESD boxes and foam. |
